It was early in my career that I realised not everyone was as interested in numbers and data as I was. After watching the eyes of others literally glaze over at the mere mention of anything banking, insurance or super related, I quickly developed a passion for helping people engage and take interest in their finances, and my customer centric approach was nurtured through my employment in predominantly member owned financial institutions.
I started my Finance career as a Credit Union Teller, and over the proceeding 13 years I moved through various roles in the Banking industry, including personal and residential lending, mortgage broking and branch management. Later in my career, a return to the industry as a Senior Business Banker with one of the Big 4 provided invaluable commercial lending experience, specialising in Agribusiness and Commercial Real Estate.
In 2017 I commenced a Bachelor of Accounting with CDU while working in the Superannuation industry, before moving into Public Practice as a Management Accountant. It was during this time a passion for supporting business through the delivery of quality financial information and administration services was born. My Accounting career has involved working with clients across various industries, including hospitality, construction, retail, not-for-profit and Indigenous organisations.
